Knap-In – March 3-4

This year, Moundville Archaeological Park will host its Annual Knap-In, a stone tool maker event, with flint knappers from all over the country. Flint knapping is one of man’s oldest crafts—it is the shaping of stone to make tools such arrow heads and knife blades, scrapers, drills and many other tools and weapons. Enjoy demonstrations and crafts among a host of other activities.
