Art Night is a monthly free event that celebrates art and artists at Kentuck Art Center. Explore exhibition openings, open artists’ studios, live music in the courtyard, extended Gallery Shop hours and pop-up shops from local vendors. These events occur the first Thursday each month and are family friendly and open to the public.

More than 20,000 Sandhill cranes along with 20 or more Whooping cranes spend the winter at the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge. Events include viewing the cranes up close, birding workshops and nature walks, kid’s activities, sponsor booths, live raptors and more.

The Pike Piddlers Storytelling Festival opens on Friday night with supper and stories at the We Piddle Around Theater in Brundidge and moves eight miles up the road to the Trojan Center Theater on the campus of Troy University for three storytelling concerts on Saturday.

Cruising in to the BJCC for its 53rd annual Birmingham event is the O’Reilly’s World of Wheels car show. Featuring more than 350 custom cars, trucks and bikes shined for competition, this weekend event has the most varied collection of vehicles in the country. Attractions, performances and celebrity appearances are included in the ticket price. Admission for children age five and under is free.
