Watch history come to life and interact with historical WWII re-enactors aboard the USS ALABAMA and USS DRUM. Historical actors dressed in period Navy uniforms demonstrate what life aboard ship was like during wartime sharing stories from original crewmen, conducting weapons briefings and demonstrating drills. At 1 p.m. a “Call to Battle Stations” will be sounded. Weather permitting, enemy aircraft will fly over attacking the ship and the crewmen will fire back to defend her firing the ship’s 20mm and 40mm guns.
